Do you need to move our data?
No. Assessments and pilots register an S3 prefix in place. Needset reads, chunks and indexes; your originals stay in your bucket under your keys.
What does "incremental deduplicated bytes" mean for the invoice?
Only bytes that are new to the catalog after chunk-level deduplication are metered. Duplicated shards, re-exports and copies of evaluation sets cost nothing extra. You get the meter as a Prometheus feed and CSV so your numbers and ours match.
Can we self-host?
Yes. The platform ships as a container image with a Compose file and a Kubernetes manifest. It runs against PostgreSQL and any S3-compatible store.
How are savings measured, not estimated?
A savings proof reports physical bytes avoided in storage, transfer and decode for a specific plan, priced at unit costs you enter. It is signed and reproducible: recompiling the plan against the same catalog produces the same numbers.
What is the commitment for a pilot?
Fixed scope, fixed price, one production path, typically two to four weeks. At the end you have a signed proof and a deployment recommendation. There is no obligation to continue.
Is there a free tier?
Yes. A free workspace manages up to 50 GB after deduplication with the full compiler, explain view and proofs, and no card. Upgrade from Billing when you need more.
How do large companies buy?
Request an enterprise workspace. A person confirms storage, SSO and contract terms with you, activates the workspace (usually within a business day), and you can run it hosted, in your VPC, or fully self-hosted with the same product.
