What we collect

Website. The in-browser scan on needset.ai runs entirely in your browser. Files you select are hashed and compressed locally and are never transmitted to us. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers. Our web server records standard access logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) for security and operations, retained for 30 days.

Contact. When you contact us by email or through the request form (which opens your own mail client), we receive what you send and use it to respond.

Control plane. Customers of the Needset control plane provide account information (name, work email, organization) and register data assets. Registered data is processed to build a chunk catalog, compile plans and produce proofs, solely to deliver the service to that customer. We do not use customer data to train models or for any other purpose. Self-hosted deployments keep all data within the customer's environment.

How we share

We do not sell personal information. We share data only with infrastructure providers that host the service under contract, and when required by law.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold by emailing hello@needset.ai. Customers may delete registered data through the control plane at any time.
